The act establishing the Centre is the National Centre for Coordination of Early Warning and Response Mechanism Act, 2021 (Act 1070).<\/p>\n

The objects of the Centre are to assist the ECOWAS Commission in the:<\/p>\n

– Timely identification of emerging crisis in the west Africa sub-Region.<\/p>\n
